Selfishness

Posted on Jan 13th, 2007 by shannon : Interaction Visionary shannon

Just as I thought. I wouldn't have expected anything else from you.

When you talk--you talk about yourself. When you say something, you always agree with yourself, saying "mmmm, yes. That's right. It must be right"

When you act, you act only for the service of your self importance. If it brings you attention, it is good. If it brings you recognition, it is good. If it brings you what you want at the sacrifice of the needs of everyone around you-- it is good.

The only thing that isn't good, is when someone realizes how stupid and selfish and hollow, and boring, and egotistical you really are. Even then, as long as the majority are fooled, it is still good.

Aren't we humans such shit heads sometimes? Such petty bastards, guarding the mighty illusionary fortresses of our egos.

Desperation Sentinel

Posted on Jan 7th, 2007 by shannon : Interaction Visionary shannon

I actually don't have a clue what the title means, the words just flew into my head and I typed them. They sound kind of nice together...desperation sentinel. I like to play with words, scramble them like eggs in my head, type them into the air with my fingers during the day to see how they feel, scribble them down on post-its and stick them around my desk then throw them away when I can no longer remember what I was thinking about when I wrote them.

Desperation's Sentinel~ a variation that sort of personifies Desperation and gives him/her a message courier.  If Desperation had a sentinel, what would it look like anyways??

Desperate Sentinel~ sounds like a newspaper that's losing readership.

Desperate Sentinels?? I am not even  creative enough to think of what that might mean. Would make a mysterious movie title perhaps...

The Sentinel of Desperation! Haha! I know exactly what that is. It's the awkward silence that comes after someone delivers a really bad pickup line...lol

Seeking fiery friends for 2007

Posted on Jan 1st, 2007 by shannon : Interaction Visionary shannon
According to this astrology blurb I found today, I have to start exploring my softer side. I'm a fighter, not a lover, so the idea of opening up, allowing intimacy and deep trust into my frieships sounds like nails on a chalk board in a room full of screeching monkeys to me, quite honestly. But 'fiery new acquaintances', as long as they keep their respectful distance and don't try to hug me or anything mushy like that, could be fun...

So, if you're reading this and you're fiery and don't mind a clammy old Capricorn for a friend, let me know ok? I'm willing to share my mountaintop with a worthy compatriot.

Capricorn:
(December 21 - January 18)
1) Allow true intimacy into your romantic relationships.
2) Open up your friendships to deeper trust.
3) Let new, fiery acquaintances enter your life in time to motivate you.
4) In September, your creativity will reach its peak, in time for you to resolve to accept any opportunity to make your hobby your work.
5) Allow yourself to believe in yourself - as much as others do.

blog

I already write for a blog called www.dailymantra.com under the name constantine.

Too lazy to click on the link? I know. Sometimes it's so hard to push a little button. Won't it take you far away from where you are right now? You might not like where it takes you and besides, it's awfully comfortable right where you are.

But you really should click on the link. Because you're an explorer. You're probably exploring on Internet Explorer, in fact.

See? One more reason to click on the link.

:-O
